WordPress To Blogger Migration

I find the WordPress blogging system way better and more user-friendly than Blogger, or otherwise known as Blogspot. But the free WordPress blog does not allow me to have Google Adsense.

Google AdSense is a program run by Google Inc. that allows publishers in the Google Network of content sites to serve automatic text, image, video, and rich media advertisements that are targeted to site content and audience. These adverts are administered, sorted, and maintained by Google, and they can generate revenue on either a per-click or per-impression basis. Adsense is a superb revenue generating opportunity for small, medium and large websites. The small earning that you would get from the added feature is worth the know-how and effort to migrate.

Because of this, I opted to transfer or export my blog from WordPress and then import it to the WordPress platform. Some of my friends would also want to import their blog from WordPress to Blogger. However, as of this post, there are no direct options available yet. You can not directly import or migrate a WordPress blog to Blogger.

I am thankful to my blogger friends who generously took the effort to teach me the indirect few steps method.

KFC Cheese Top Burger: The Dumbest Idea Ever

KFC Philippines is offering something called the “Cheese Top Burger,” a fried chicken patty sandwich with garlic Parmesan dressing and a slice of cheese melted atop the bun. They boast that it is the first and only cheese topped bun burger.

Their Facebook page advertised it this way:

“Have you tried our latest buzz-worthy sandwich? Grab the Streetwise Cheese Top Burger now and see it for yourself! Take a bite and discover the difference that cheese-baked bread makes. It’s mess-free, cheesy, and definitely so good. But don’t take our word for it. Be the judge of its taste and share with us your experience. Enjoy it now for only P50 with drink! The only thing crazier is not trying it.”

The only thing crazier is dunking a drumstick on your coke. Oh, they did that already on a TV spoof.

There is another thing crazier, in fact it’s craziest: falling for this goof trap.

Free Ni-Ti Zone

Parents should be just like the free Wi-Fi zones out there that are available to be tapped if one wants access to the Internet. In this case, they should be called Ni-Ti, read as Nay-Tay short for the Tagalog name for Mother and Father. “Nanay” and “Tatay” or “Inay” and “Itay”, similar to Mommy and Daddy, Mom and Dad, or Mama and Papa.

Similar to most Wi-Fi signals, a parent’s presence should always be available and reachable when the children need them most…and not weak or fading on and off.

Parents should have a strong enough signal like maybe four bars at least, if five bars is not possible, so that communication would be easily felt at its acceptable level. Dropped or intermittent calls are simply a pain especially if in the middle of a very important conversation.
